Chaukundi tombs are one of the most unique archeological heritage located just 27 kilometers from the centre of Karachi Pakistan. At Chaukundi you can find beautifully decorated graves from 15th to 18th century. Each grave is a master piece of art decorated with ancient symbols and patterns carved in sand stone. Chaukundi word means the 4 corners as each grave is in rectangular in shape. The graves of men and women are recogniseable by their decoration. Masculan graves have turban carved on top and faminine graves have jewelery carved.
