1.3 Relative Share of Visitors to Cultural Places.
The variation in relative share of visitors to historical places, archaeological
sites and museums in 2004 and 2003 is shown in table number No. 4.

The above table reflects that:-
The percentage share of visitors to historical places decreased from
76.73 percent in 2003 to 72.4 percent in 2004.
The reasons of less arrival of visitors to historical places are as
Closer of historical places for visitors by the security
agencies for visit of Very Important Persons.
Irregular maintenance of visitors statistic by the
contractors of historical places.
Every year 3 to 4 public meetings were allowed to
political parties at Minar-e-Pakistan, but from last two
years these activities are banned.
The percentage share of visitors to archaeological sites went up from
3.46 percent in 2003 to 5.8 percent in 2004.
The share of visitors to museums also increased to 21.8 percent in
2004 from 19.81 percent in 2003.
