Analysis of visitors to Archaeological Sites:
Pakistan is dotted with many ancient civilizations. The antiquity and value of
Moenjodaro is reorganized one of the most important archaeological sites of the
world. Placed at the list of world heritage. The Report presents a complete data on
the arrivals of visitors to the following momentous / archaeological sites of Pakistan,
three of which are located in Sindh and one in the N.W.F.P.
Moenjodaro,
Larkana,
Sindh.
Banbhore, Thatta, Sindh
Umerkot, Tharparkar, Sindh.
Takht-e-Bahi, Mardan, N.W.F.P.
Visitors to Archaeological sites showed an upward trend in year 2004,
visited by 0.153 million visitors compared to 0.096 million in 2003, showing a
substantial increase of 59.4 percent. Details are presented in the following table:-
