Lahore City tour

Full day Lahore city tour and Wahgah border flag ceremony.

We will meet you at your hotel any where in Lahore at 9:00 AM. We will begin our tour with the Lahore fort which was a royal residential fort for Moghulas during 15th to 18th century we will visit different sections of the fort in details and also visit the museum inside the fort housing different miniature painting of the Moghul Kings and also many objects from the Sikh period (1818). Your professional guide will give detailed explanation of every thing. Right in front of the fort is the famous Badshahi mosque (Royal Mosque) A simple elegant looking architecture built in 17th century by Aurandzeb Alamgir the mosque is simple red sand stone architecture with its 4 high minarets also completely made of red sandstone. The interior of the mosque is decorated with white marble inlay in red sand stone. After a detailed visit of the fort and mosque we will drive to the Lahore museum, the largest museum of Pakistan housing objects from the ancient Indus civilization to the modern art and history of Pakistan. We will return to hotel for a fresh up and Lunch. Afternoon we will visit Anarkali bazaar a very colorful bazaar with traditional shops selling merchandise of all sorts. We will then drive to Shalimar Garden. We will drive to Wahgah border to reach the border just in time for the flag lowering ceremony an exciting ceremony where both countries’ army men show and excellent display of their speed and courage by lowering the flags of each country and closing the doors of the border for night. After this thrilling experience of patriotism we will drive you to Gawal Mandi where you can enjoy a delicious meal (Not included in price) We will bring you back to the hotel after you have had the dinner.
