N.W.F.P. and Northern Areas
Administration, produces an annual
Report on Cultural Tourism in Pakistan.
The Report covers data on local and
foreign visitors to leading historical places,
archaeological sites and museums in the
country, where entry fee is charged.
The Report contains information on
number of visitors to cultural sites,
historical places, museums and
archaeological sites such as Lahore Fort,
Shalimar Garden, Jahangir's Tomb, Hiran
Minar, Moenjodaro, Banbhore, Umerkot
and Takht-i-Bahi.
The Report will be of interest
to all those engaged in the
promotion and development of
cultural, historical and museum
oriented tourism in Pakistan. It is
also useful to the planners and
students of culture, history,
sociology and anthropology of the
Region.

visitors their monthly break-up of the places of cultural importance in the

country. The information is collected from the Culture and Archaeological
Departments, Lok Virsa, Pakistan Science Foundation, Culture Department
Government of Sindh, Department of Archaeology, Government of N.W.F.P.
