It would be seen from the above that:-
Cultural sites located in Lahore being popular among the visitors,
received the highest number of visitors being 81.0 percent of the
total visitors, followed by Moenjodaro 4.6 percent, Taxila 3.0
percent, Islamabad 2.9 percent, Hyderabad 1.8 percent,
Sheikhupura 1.6 percent and Harappa 1.2 percent. Relatively
fewer visitors visited Banbhore, Hunza, Swat, Sialkot, Umer Kot,
Peshawar, Takht-e-Bahi, and Dir.

position of visitors to these places is presented below:-
2.1 Historical
Places.
Undoubtably, there are numerous historical places worth visiting in the
country, yet on account of lack of data collection arrangements, this Report covers
only the following historical places where visitors are charged an entrance fee:-
Lahore
Fort, Lahore.
Shalamar Garden, Lahore.
Jahangir's
Tomb, Lahore.
Hiran
Minar,
Sheikhupura.
Baltit
Fort,
Hunza.

Historical Places and Visitors.
In year 2004, Visitors to historical places showed a downward trend. A total
number of 1.896 million tourists visited Historical places during 2004, as compared
to 2.130 million in 2003, reflecting a decline of 11.0 percent. Break-up of the arrivals
by origin of visitors is shown in the following table:-
