Gulmit is a small village at a breathtaking scenic point in Hunza valley. Gulmit is 2500 meters or approximately 8200 feet above sea level. Gulmit is a fertile plateau with irrigated fields growing maize, wheat and potatoes besides the orchids of Apricots, Apples Walnuts and peaches. Gulmit is a places to relax in an environment free from all the worries of life. In Gulmit one can spend time by walking in the fields and into mountain passes along the irrigation canals.

Gulmit to Boreet Lake: Scenic walk along the irrigation canal that goes across to Gulkin Glacier, Glacier can be a little rough for some people but one can always return back without feeling bad as the walk upto the glacier is just as scenic as it is after. Gulmit to Passu.

Besham - Gulmit 200 Kilometers 200 Kilometers usually takes 8 - 9 Hours with stops at Dassu & Shatia you may see the rockdrawing from 4th to 8th century at Shatial along the bank of river Indus. Besham to Gulmit is a beautiful drive.
