transport because 536.1 thousand or 82.7 percent tourists came by air as
compared to 385.3 thousand or 76.9 percent in 2003, reflecting a significant
increase of 39 percent over the previous year. The foreign tourist arrivals
through land were 111.9 thousand in 2004 as compared to 115.6 thousand
in 2003 showing a decrease of 3.2 percent. The sea traffic as usual
remained nil. (See Table No. 2.7 of Appendix).
