On
April 12, 2003 at a special event at the Riviera Country Club
in Los Angeles, California, John Thomas was honored as their
Man of the Year by the Assistance
League of Southern California, and one of their services,
Operation
School Bell, for his philanthropy and volunteerism to
them and the community.

In
February, 2003 John Thomas was named Volunteer of the Year
by Elizabeth
House, a home for pregnant women and their children in
crisis in Pasadena, California.

On
November 21, 2002, at a special ceremony recognizing National
Philanthropy Day, John Thomas was named the Outstanding
Youth Volunteer of the Year for his philanthropy and
volunteer efforts in the community. Over 1,800 people attended
this gala event, and Huell Howser of "California's
Gold" TV series was the Master of Ceremonies.

In
September, 2002, John Thomas received Special Recognition
from the California Legislature and Assemblywoman, Carol
Liu, for his extraordinary leadership in organizing his
local Key Club activities.

May 22, 2000, Kelly and John Thomas were recognized by
the United States Congress and awarded a Congressional
Commendation for their extraordinary efforts related
to their senior citizen related community service programs.

May 17, 2000, Kelly and John Thomas were awarded the honor
of being named in the City of Glendale's Junior Top
103. Recognition is given to those teenagers in and
around Glendale for their outstanding contributions in the
community.

February 20, 2000, Kelly and John Thomas were the first
American recipients of the International Do A Good Deed
Award, for their extraordinary efforts on this site
and exemplary community service. The contest, which rewards
good deeds and encourages youths to make the correct choices
in life, is sponsored by doctorrelation.com. As winners, they
were also awarded a new Gateway computer along with two years
