Travel & Culture Services announces special Packages for Cricket Asia Cup 2010 in Sri Lanka.

The Asia Cup 2010 will be played in Sri Lanka in June there will be only 4 teams contesting this year’s Asia cup these teams will be India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The venue the tournament has been announced as Dambulla Stadium Sri Lanka

The tournament will be played from 15th June to 25th June next year, and will have seven games being played. This will have six games in the round-robin stage, and a final that will be played between the top two sides of the tournament.

This will be a great time for Sri Lanka to promote itself in the cricket fans of South Asia after the Tamil problems there Sri-Lanka has once again become one of the most favorite destination for leisure and business travelers.

About Asia Cup
Asia Cup is a tournament organized by Asian Cricket Council. A total of nine tournaments of Asia Cup have been played so far, with both India and Sri Lanka having won four tournaments each. In the previous such tournament held in Sri Lanka last year

The tournament had then seen six countries participate in it, with the likes of UAE and Hong Kong also playing in the tournament. Bangladesh, UAE and Sri Lanka were in the first group, and India, Pakistan and Hong Kong belonged to the second group. India had beaten Pakistan in the first round game and despite losing to them in the second round, managed to enter the finals by beating the finals. However, they lost in the finals.

This time around, there was a strong possibility that Afghanistan could have played around in the series thanks to their qualification as an ODI side, after they finished fifth in the World Cricket League and narrowly missed out on the World Cup. But they, along with Scotland became the fifth and the sixth sides to be still eligible to play the ODI cricket as top six sides in the world apart from the top ten test playing nations get to play ODIs

Travel & Culture exhibiting at World Travel Mart (WTM)

October 10th 2008, Travel & Culture Services Pakistan has confirmed its participation at the prestigious travel Mart the World Travel Mart being held in London from 12th to 15th November 2008. Travel & Culture has been promoting tours to Pakistan since 1997 and in these difficult times when the world has been hearing a lot of negative publicity about Pakistan, Travel & Culture still believes and can show the world that Pakistan is a destination for the peaceful tourists.

Travel & Culture will be exhibiting with the Pakistan Tourism Development's Pakistan pavilion and will be most prominent in promoting Pakistan. PTDC has planned an exclusive area for Pakistan presenting counties major airlines, tour operators and hotels. The Pakistan pavilion has been carefully designed to show a modern and positive Pakistan look.

Pakistan does not have a war nor there is any epidemic. The country’s mountain areas are peaceful and have absolutely no trouble whats-so-ever. The valleys of Hunza Skardu Chitral and Indus valley as whole are probably the most beautiful and culturally rich areas of the country. Tourism is the bread & butter of the people of these areas hence no local wants it disturbed.

The South Pakistan is always peaceful and is open for tourism presenting its centuries History archeology and colorful culture.

Travel & Culture will be presenting the positive image of Pakistan at the WTM. Islamabad 19th Feb 2008 Group of Ministry OF Agriculture Sheraz Iran visited the Ministry of Agricultures Islamabad.

Travel & Culture Services proudly handled a group of 20 directors from the Ministry of Agriculture Islamic Republic of Iran. Group was received with rose garlands on their arrival at the Islamabad airport and transferred t the hotel in Islamabad. Next day the group had meetings with the Ministry of Agriculture heads and exchanged views about different aspects of co-operation between the two countries. Group was taken to Mardan to visit the tobacco and persimmon farming. The Group also visited Lahore and Agriculture universities in Punjab.

The group had a farewell Dinner on the 19th and was seen off at the Islamabad airport by the representatives of Iran Embassy & Travel & Culture Services.

Karachi 2^nd June 2008 Travel & Culture Services Pakistan opens its office in Dubai.

Travel & Culture Services a domestic inbound tour operator based in Karachi Pakistan has recently started offering tours and Safaris in Dubai (UAE). Although our base and our core business is inbound tours and treks in Pakistan but since Pakistan has become ever more difficult to sell as a tourist destination we have decided to operate tours in Dubai until the things get normalized in Pakistan. The Pakistan operation will still be as it is offering tours treks and hotel reservations in Pakistan but we will have Dubai as our destination as well.
