Pakistan Buddhist Pilgrimage tour

Visit the holy sites of Buddhist period in Pakistan. Pakistan is the land where Ashoka ruled from. Ashoka built the city of Taxila, which became the majoreducation center of Buddhisam. Sanskirat was invented in Pakistan. All rules of Buddhist religion were made in Pakistan. We many stupas and monasteries from the Ashoka period (275BC to the Last kings of Kashan dynasty (6th century AD). This tour will take you to all important places of Buddhism in Pakistan.

Day 01 Meet on arrival in Lahore transfer to hotel one Lahore (3 star). Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Morning tour of Lahore visit the Lahore museum which houses the most holy relic of Buddha the "fasting Buddha" also see some of the most admired Gandhara sculptors. We will also visit the Lahore fort and Badshahi mosque. Afternoon free for shopping in Lahore overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Drive to Peshawar on arrival transfer to Grand hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Morning visit the Peshawar museum and bazaar afternoon excursion to Charsadha stupa overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Drive to Swat via Shahbaz Gari and Takht Bhai overnight at Serena hotel.

Day 06 Visit the Swat museum which houses some of the finnest collection of Buddhist sculptures. Later visit Butkara Stupa and Monastery which once housed the orignal Ashes of Buddha overnight at hotel.

North Pakistan Buddhist Culture and mountains tour

Day 01 Meet on arrival in Islamabad transfer to Envoy Continental hotel (3 star). Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Morning tour of Islamabad afternoon drive to Taxila. visit the Dharmarajika Stupa and Julian Monastery overnight at envoy continental hotel in Taxila.

5 Days Karachi Tour

Day 01 Tuesday Arrival Karachi By TG 508 at 20:30 meetupon arrival and transfer to Karachi Mehran Hotel overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Morning tour of Karachi We drive in this cosmopolitin city Starting with the defence mosque a Big dome that has 70000 mirrors in the roof depicts a sky with stars then we will drive thru the rich area of Karachi known as defence and Visit Clifton beach. You can have a camel or horse ride here. We continue our tour and stop at Uzma Market to check out great bargins at this modern but traditional bazaar then we will visit the Mausoleum of Father of nation Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. We will stop at Bohri bazzaar also for some shopping.
Afternoon free for Shopping and other personal activity.

Day 03 Full day excursion to Thatta Leave in the morning For Thatta 100 KMs from Karachi. On the way to Thatta stop at Chaukundi. 15 - 18th century tombs scattered on a large area. Each tomb is unique in it design and motifs. Rich carved sandstone depicting the relation of the local tribes with the neighboring Iran, central Asia and Turkey. Banbhore archeological site of Daibal excavated in 1962, is the site where Alexander established a town in 325BC and then the first Muslim conqueror in South East Asia came in 711AD.It is Beautiful site with a small museum. On arrival at Thatta Visit Makli largest cemetery of the world. Witness the beautiful Moghul Architecture in the magnificent mausoleums of the kings and ministers of 16 - 18 century. Also Visit Shahjehan mosque a master piece of Moghul architecture its blue glazed tile work is still the most well preserved in the subcontinent. Late afternoon return to Karachi. Time permitting also visit Haleji Lake famous bird sanctuary.

Day 04 Drive to Larkana via Sehwan Sharief en-route visit the Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar a Sufi who taught Islam to locals An experiece to see a huge number of devotes visiting and praying at shrine. Late continue to Larkana Overnight at Asia hotel.

Day 05 Full day tour of Moen o daro Moen Jo dare is the site of the great Indus civilization which flourished as the earliest Urban culture in 3000 - 1700 BC. We have a large No. of detailed sites well laid by the expert archeologists. Indus civilization was probably the most advanced urban culture in the past , From the sites we can see the complete planning of the city, a separate area for Administration/ state, a rich residential area, Industrial area and an area for poor or workers. All the streets present an excellent grid system and were maintained with covered drainage , Dustbins and Market places. It is also proved that they had binary system of weights. The state was very strict. We don't see any difference in weights found from different sites. Taxes were collected in form of wheat, Barley 0r same, and mud pots were sealed to prove the clearance of dues. The used a language with 300 Different semipictographic characters, which are not read yet. Further details can be read or had from us at any time. We start with DK area which is also shown on 10 Rupees note. It is an administrative area. We shall see the stupa of 2nd Century Ad which was built by Buddhist much later than the site it self; we then see Assembly hall, drainage, wells, state granary where taxes were collected, streets and the great bath. Then we visit the DK area which is main citadel or rich Residential area we shall see the advanced life style of the people of the Indus. We also witness different levels of civilization and the planning of houses street etc.

After the sites we will visit the site museum which has some findings of the site presented in a professional manner one is amazed to see how archeologists can gather bits and pieces to make an objects. later we will continue to Sukkur where we will visit the menarate of Masoom Shah and also visit River Indus banks a temple and Bazzaar we then go to Interpak Inn hotel for fresh up and transfer to railway station for overnight train to Lahore

Day 06 Morning Arrival at Lahore railway station meet on arrival and transfer to regency inn hotel . Rest at hotel Afternoon tour of Lahore Visit the Lahore museum the largest museum in Pakistan Hoses the article from Moen Jo Daro Harrappa, Taxila, Peshawar, Swat and other areas. Also a well organized ethnological gallery and the British Raj history gallery are worth a visit. Later drive to Delhi gate visit the Delhi gate bazaar and Wazir Khan mosque one of the most beautiful mosques in the country. Decorated with frescos, Glazed tiles minarets arches and domes. Later continue to Shalimar garden, romantic garden of the Moghuls. See the beautifully laid fountains and fantastic architecture of this garden of Love. Day 07 Morning Drive to Indian Border and witness the Flag ceranmony later tour of Jehangeer & Noorjehaan mausoleum Drive only 10 Kilometers outside Lahore to see one of the most important Moghul architectures in Lahore. it is an enormous building with beautiful garden Minarets, Arches and beautiful frescos. Later take a short drive to Noorjehan wife of Jehangir tomb also a wonderful marvel of Moghul architecture. Later drive to Shalimar garden the romantic garden of the Moguls.

Evening transfer to airport for flight to home TG501 leaves at 23:30 on tuesday
