14 Days Naltar Pass Trek

An excellent but challenging trek to the Naltar pass. You will drive from Gilgit by 4x4 Jeep to Naltar where you will start the trek to Nalter Lakewhere you will find yourself close to nature you might want to try fishing in the lake and cook it at the camp. Crossing Nalter River , you will get an outstanding view of Shani Peak ( 5887 m).

Trekking through pasture lands, lush green forests and settlements of wooden huts, you reach Pakhora, another fantastic place for camping. This trek of unspoiled natural beauty is a great experience

Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival & transfer. PM city tour of Rawalpindi & Islamabad.
Day 02 Early Morning Drive to Besham Via Karakoram Highway Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 Drive to Gilgit Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 AM visit Gilgit Bazaar & Kargah Buddha PM drive to Naltar by jeeps.
Day 05 Trek Naltar/Naltar Lake (3/4 hrs)
Day 06 Trek Naltar Lake/Lower Shanni (4/5 hrs)
Day 07 Trek Lower Shanni/Base camp (4/5 hrs)
Day 08 Trek Base camp/Koribort (6/7 hrs)
Day 09 Trek Koribort/Pakora (6/7 hrs)
Day 10 Meet Your Jeeps and Drive to Gilgit by jeeps. Overnight at Hotel
Day 11 Full Day Excursion to Hunza AM visit Baltit and Altit forts. Overnight at Hotel in Gilgit.
Day 12 Drive to Besham driving on Karakoram Highway. Overnight at Hotel
Day 13 Besham/Islamabad Drive to Rawalpindi visiting Taxila, en route.
