15 Days Hushe Gondogoro BC Trek

This is a highly rewarding trek that takes you to the Basecamp Gondogoro. The mountain range is Karakorums. You will be trekking form 600 meters to maximum height of 4680 meters. The best season to trek is from June to September.

The tour will start in Islamabad and drive to Skardu stopping for one night at Chilas on Karakorum Highway. After Preparation you will drive 140km east of Skardu by Jeep to The village of Hushe which is starting point for many expeditions and trekking to various summer pastures and five glaciers in the Karakorum range.

You will trek to Charakusa River & pass through Shepherd’s summer camp and the confluence of the Gondogoro and Charakusa Rivers, you will cross a wooden bridge to reach Shaieshcho a large shepherd’s settlement with a Mosque. The next day trek to Dalzampa, which means "field of flowers". It is a beautiful campsite at about 4150m, between two lakes with Masherbrum Mountain and the white glacier cascading down from Masherbrum Pass reflecting in the still water.

Trek Itinerary:

Day 01 Islamabad. Briefing with Ministry of Tourism. Overnight at Shalimar or Similar Hotel.
Day 02 Try to take Flight to Skardu or drive to Chilas in case of flight cancellation. Hotel in Skardu or Chilas in case of driving.
Day 03 Free day at Skardu or drive from Chilas to Skardu. Hotel.
Day 04 Drive to Hushe. overnight in Tent.
Day 05 Trek to Shaieshcho (3330m). Tent.
Day 06 Trek to Gondogoro Camp (3950m). Tent.
Day 07 Trek to Dalzampa (4300m). Tent.
Day 08 Trek to Khuspang (4680m). Tent.
 Day 09 Free day. Tent.
Day 10 Trek to Shaieshcho. Tent.
Day 11 Trek to Hushe. Tent.
Day 12 Drive to Skardu. Hotel.
 Day 13 Fly to Islamabad or drive to Chilas in case of flight cancellation. Hotel.
Day 14 Debriefing with Ministry of Tourism or complete road journey from Chilas to Islamabad.
Day 15 Fly Out.
