Trekking experience in the high mountains of Pakistan. The trek will let you
explore the less travelled Haramosh area of the Karakorums
This
trek goes over Haramosh Pass which connects the Haramosh Glacier with Chogo Lungma
glacier in the North East of the Karakorum range. The area is surrounded by Laila
Peak (6986m), Mani peak (6685m) and the Haramosh Peak (7409m).
You will start trekking at Doko and ends at Dassu near Sassi where the
valley meets Gilgit – Skardu road. The trek passes through the
B.C of Laila peak starting from Bulocho.
The Haramosh La trek is considered rather difficult as the glacier on the upper reaches is
heavily crevassed which create avalanches. The ascent is steep
on the west side requiring the use of rope. It is a challenging
trek and is only suited to experienced trekkers with
mountaineering experience.
Trek Itinerary:
Day 01 Arrival Islamabad drive to ministry of tourism for briefing
and necessary paper work transfer to Hotel overnight. (D)

flight is cancelled due to weather we drive to Chilas Overnight at Hotel. (B D)

Skardu.
