Day 1 Bangkok-colors of Bangkok
(by car/biking and walking)
Morning Pickup on arrival at Bangkok Airport and transfer to Siam Heritage
or Shanghai Mansion Bangkok for check-in.
Noon 12:30 to Evening 17:30 Experience a 4-5 hour cycling tour of Colors
of Bangkok over a distance of 25-30 kms. through the metropolitan Bangkok.
This trip includes the visits of a local Buddhist temple complex, a
sweatshop making sandals and a short boat trip across the Chao Phya River
in a longtailed boat. You will visit the slum houses and the people living
there as well as an open-air Muay Thai school (kickboxing). You will ride
through the greenest area of Bangkok and stop to visit a Burmese style
(Mon) built Chedi and a local elementary school. On most routes traveled
by Colors of Bangkok, cars and other heavy traffic are not able to drive
which results in a 95% traffic free route. During the trip we will stop
about every hour to rest and to provide you drinking water or a soft
drink. Halfway we will stop at a local food shop and try the Pad Thai Kung
or Kao Pad. Return to your hotel.

Day 2 Bangkok-old Siam tour Bangkok by night [b/l/d]

08:00-15:00 Visit to the center of Bangkok 220 years ago was around the
royal Grand Palace. We will bring you back to Bangkok during the reign of
King Rama IV where the first road was cut to facilitate the expats who
were living in Bangkok. Drive and walk through the 3 roads Charoen Krung,
Bamrungmuang and Fueng Nakorn. Full of history and story of business
establishment along the road side. First stop is made at Wat Sraked
(Golden Mt.) for panoramic view of the Old Bangkok City.
Afterwards, continue by Tuk Tuk (Samlor) to visit Baan Bart, the original
Khmer community and nowadays well-known for the alms-bolw or Baat making.
We walk further to visit Wat Suthat and the Giant Swing. After lunch at a
local restaurant, we continue to visit Wat Rajbophit to see the beautiful
temple hall decorated with Benjarong wares.
17:30-22:30 Visit a night in Bangkok. Start exploring the bustling
Chinatown a popular tourist attraction and a food haven. Upon this 1-km
strip packed with market stalls, street-side restaurants and a dense
concentration of gold shops.
Continue the journey to Pakklong Talaad, the biggest wholesale and retail
fresh flower market in Bangkok. Drive to Wat Suthat and The Giant Swing.
From here, we continue on foot passing Bangkok Metropolitan Office to
Democracy Monument.
19:00 Dinner at Hotel De Moc, then travelling by tram around Ratanakosin
area with the fantastic views of The Must-See attractions in Bangkok,
Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, The Golden Mount, Wat Ratchanaddaram, The
Democracy Monument, The City Pillar Shrine, The Grand Palace, Wat Pho,
National Theatre and Santi Chaiprakarn Park.
21:15 End up the night by exploring the Khao San Road for its famously
described as "the centre of the backpacking universe". Return to your
hotel for accommodation.
Day 3 bangkok canals route (boat trip) [b/l/-]
Breakfast at hotel.
07:30-15:00 Depart by minibus for the River City boat landing and take a
long-tailed boat for visits of Bangkok Canals route. First stop is made at
the Chinese Shrine on the bank of the river near Wat Anongkharam. The
Shrine is established over 200 years ago during Thonburi period. Then
continue to the site of Queen Mother former house which is now set up as a
memorial museum to the late Queen Mother. Next stop is at Wat Santa Cruz,
then stroll around the local village of Kudi Chin and a stop at local
bakery. Return to the bird and continue the journey to Wat Rakang for a
unique triplex scripture hall aged over 200 years that once used to be the
house of King Rama I when he was Chao Praya Chakri. Visit other historical
sites in the temple. Continue to Supatra Restaurant for lunch and return
to your hotel.

08:30-14:00 After breakfast, meet up with your guide and transfer to
"Samyan Market" for a Thai fresh market experience. As you stroll through
the market, meet locals on their morning shopping jaunts, learn about the
ingredients used in Thai cooking and sample some tropical fruits. Continue
to "Century Year Old - Nanglerng Food Market" it was one of the most
important markets in inner Bangkok a hundred years ago when this area of
the city was flourishing. Back then, the market was a major trade centre
for all the various communities living in the city. It now offers a lot of
historical insights in terms of both the food and the architecture- you
will see a lot of old-style wooden shop houses in the neighborhood and
please your palate with local sweet and delicacies.
A short ride takes you to a small but famous local restaurant near Bangkok
City Hall to enjoy an authentic Thai lunch and wrap up the meal with a

with you so you can make authentic Thai dishes back home in your own
kitchen.
The class will be held at The Baipai Thai Cooking School, conducted in
English and are a hands on. An ideal home-style learning environment that
aims at cooking a style of Thai food that is different from most of the
hotels and restaurants in Thailand. Spend the morning learning to prepare
4 authentic Thai dishes. During all classes, the school's instructional
emphasis is always focused on the same three things: traditional Thai
technique, innovative use of ingredients, and aesthetic presentation. You

Day 1 Bangkok Koh Kred Nonthaburi [-/l/d]
07:30-08:30 Pick up from hotel (s) in Bangkok and head 20 kilometres north
of Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River. Riding alongside the Chao Phraya
River, passing numerous small villages, we see temples, fruit and flower
plantations, local villages and very friendly Thai people. We then head
away from river life and pass into the rural surroundings where we ride
among rice paddies and fruit plantations before finishing the first part
of our journey back on the banks of the river at Ban Bua Thong.
On Ko Kret, the island has always been populated by Mon people. The Mon of
Koh Kret are famous for their craftsmanship and skill at the potter wheel
and still make all kinds of terracotta and earthenware products. The main
village is a thriving market place where you can see the pottery making
process and shop for pots, mortars, and flowerpots. Continue ride to Wat
Paramai Yikawat or Wat Mon, which contains a Mon styled marble Buddha.
This is a very easy riding along nice flat roads and paths. The beautiful
thing about riding on Koh Kret is that there are no cars allowed on the
island so you have the road to yourselves.
