Swat as Conference Destination
Swat is a beautiful valley in the north west of Islamabad
capital of Pakistan. Its central town Mingora/Saidu Sharief is just 260
Kilometers from Islamabad and 170 Kilometers from Peshawar. Swat vally is spread
in the length of aprox 100 Kilometers from Mingora to Kalam.
Major destination include Saidu Sharief, Mingora, Miandam,
Malamjabam Bahrain, & Kalam. There are 2 5 star hotels and many 3 and 2 Star
hotels in Swat valley.
Getting to Swat
Swat is accessable by Swat Motorway we can arrange the
transfers for delegates by car, van or Utong Bus to Swat
There is also an airport in Saidu Sharief which can bring
delegates with private chartered flights.

This program is a short option. You get to see green foothills
of Hindukush mountains. Starting from Islamabad you will have a
stop at the confluence of river Indus & river Kabul later
driving across the Kabul river & Malakand pass you will be
met by the green valley of Swat. Swat Serena hotel is a first
class category of hotel with vast gardens around it & a very
good restaurant. You will also visit Swat museum which houses a
great treasure of Gandhara art. On our way back we will drive to
Peshawar this will cut our journey short & we will have about
31/2 hours.
Hotels : Swat Serena hotel. It is a hotel of 60 well arranged
rooms with basic amenities. A conference with a maximum of 50 Pax
is recommended
Swat continental Hotel : A small hotel but equipped with all
basic amenities of a superior hotel. Has restaurant and a
conference hall to cater a conference of 50 - 60 Persons.
Activities : Fishing in the Swat river
Bon fire Dinner with sports and traditional music.
Excursions to Kalam & Miandam,
Visit to archeological site of Butkara.
Self cooking dinner with BBQ.
ITINERARY
Day 01 Flight to Islamabad. On arrival meet and drive to Swat
via Malakand Pass. (265 KMS 5 Hours ) Overnight at Swat Serena
Hotel.
Day 02 Full Day conference facilities in the Hotel with Lunch
& Tea breaks.
Day 03 Morning tour of Mingora Visit Swat Museum, Butkara archaeological site & Mingora bazaar. Afternoon Drive to
Peshawar (170 KMS ) connect flight to Karachi.
