Dua For Diseased Prayers for the Dead

Dua for Deceased Parents, Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, Relatives and Others

Every now and then we come across an ocassion where our dear or near ones have passed away, in such curcumstances following are some of the best prayers which one can make while visiting the family of the Diseased or just alone to give a gift of Dua to the Diseased

Duas For deceased 01
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ الَّلهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ

In Roman : Allaahum-maghfir lahu Allaahumma thabbithu
Translation : O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, strengthen him.

Duas For deceased 02

اللهُـمِّ اغْفِـرْ لِـ-فُلاَنٍ (باسـمه)وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتََـهُ فِي المَهْـدِيّيـنَ ، وَاخْـلُفْـهُ في عَقِـبِهِ في الغَابِِـرِينَ، وَاغْفِـرْ لَنَا وَلَـهُ يا رَبَّ العـالَمـين، وَافْسَـحْ لَهُ في قَبْـرِهِ وَنَـوِّرْ لَهُ فِيهِ
In Roman : Allaahummaghfir li (name of the person) warfa’ darajatahu fil-mahdiyyeena, wakhlufhu fee ‘aqibihi fil-ghaabireena , waghfir-lanaa wa lahu yaa Rabbal-‘aalameena, wafsah lahu fee qabrihi wa nawwir lahu feehi
Translation: O Allah, forgive [name of the person] and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it.

Duas For deceased 03

اللَّهمَّ اغْفِرْ لَه ُُ وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعَافِه ِِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّه ِِ مِنَ الخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَاراً خَيْرا ً مِنْ دَارِهِ، وَأَهْلاً خَيْرا ً مِنْ أَهْلِهِ، وَزَوْجَاً خَيْرا ً مِنْ زَوْجِهِ، وَأَدْخِلْهُ الجَنَّةَ، وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ النَّار
Translation: ‘O Allah, forgive and have mercy upon him, excuse him and pardon him, and make honourable his reception. Expand his entry, and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice, and purify him of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. Exchange his home for a better home, and his family for a better family, and his spouse for a better spouse. Admit him into the Garden, protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.’

Duas For deceased 04

اللَّهمَّ إِنَّ فُلانَ بْنَ فُلان ٍ فِي ذِمَّتِكَ، وَحَبْلِ جِوَارِكَ، فَقِه ِِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ القَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ، وَأَنْتَ أَهْلُ الوَفَاءِ وَالحَقِّ، فَاغْفِرْ لَه ُُ وَارْحَمْهُ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ
Translation: ‘O Allah, so-and-so is under Your care and protection so protect him from the trial of the grave and torment of the Fire. Indeed You are faithful and truthful. Forgive and have mercy upon him, surely You are The Oft-Forgiving, The Most-Merciful.’

اللَّهمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ وَعَافِهِمْ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُمْ وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُمْ وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالبَرَدِ وَنَقِّه ِ مِنَ الخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَاراً خَيْرا ً مِنْ دَارِهِ وَأَهْلاً خَيْرا ً مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَزَوْجَاً خَيْرا ً مِنْ زَوْجِهِ وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ الجَنَّةَ وَأَعِذْهُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ النَّار
Translation: Oh Allah forgive them. Have mercy on them. Grant them safety. Pardon them. Welcome them. Expand their graves. Wash them with water, with ice, with snow. Wash them from their sins, the way a dirt is removed from a white cloth. Grant them a better abode (in the hereafter) than their abode in the world. Grant them a better family (in the hereafter) than their family in the world. Grant them a better spouse (in the hereafter) than their spouse in the world. And enter them in paradise. And protect them from the tails of the grave, and from the punishment of the fire.
