Raja Bazzaar Rawalpindi

Four to five decades ago, Islamabad used to be a city limited to two or three sectors, and Abpara was considered the first and biggest market of Islamabad, where there were a good number of Bengali brothers' shops.

In those days, people from Murree, Kahota, Gujar Khan used to come to Pindi to buy big purchases like wedding equipment. Pindi was also just a shopping bazaar.
Fawara Chowk was a central place. The vegetable market was also a thousand feet away, going to Committee Chowk, Iqbal Road, from the same Chowk to City Sadar Road and Kashmiri Bazar, in front of Roz Cinema. Taking rides and taking off legs, just those who want to see the city walk would go here.
