Kartarpur is the holy town for Sikh Community, located in tehsil Shakargarh, Narowal District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is 4 kilometers from Pak-India border .

Kartarpur was established by the founder of Sikh religion Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji in 1522, and is the location of Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, the first Gurdwara ever built, where Guru Nanak is said to have died.

Kartarpur and has seen some fighting around it during 1965 and 1971 wars between two neighbours
