New Shalimar Express

Shalimar Express after serving the Pakistan public for several decades was shut down by the government however in February 2012 a private company called Air Rail Services took over the charge and started the operation of the train on private basis keeping the stops limited and with proper operations. The train runs between Karachi & Lahore and has 2 classes Air-conditioned and non Air-conditioned

Fares

The fares vary from time to time depending on the booking demand earlier you book cheaper it is. The fare for non air-conditioned seat/birth is Rs. 1200 to Rs. 1800 and Sear for Air-conditioned service is Rs. 1800 to 2800
